In the Sporting and Wildlife Art auction, the work Burma Road in the saddling paddock with his trainer and jockey sold for USD 32,500.00 (€ 23,349.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franklin Brooke Voss; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot American The Meadow Brook Hunt sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,445.53).
