In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Not At Home; Rough And Ready; A Meeting of The Unemployed; And The Good Old Days by Frank Paton. The result of GBP 300.00 (€ 445.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Paton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 17,327.50 (€ 25,788.51).

Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Not At Home; Rough And Ready; A Meeting of The Unemployed; And The Good Old Days von Frank Paton zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 300,00 (€ 445,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Paton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit First im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.327,50 (€ 25.788,51).
