Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Dog Sale, which included the work Ballboy - A Terrier by Frank Paton. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,048.00 (€ 2,373.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Paton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 17,327.50 (€ 25,788.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Dog Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ballboy - A Terrier von Frank Paton zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.048,00 (€ 2.373,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Paton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit First im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.327,50 (€ 25.788,51).
