Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Frank Myers Boggs could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Works of Art auction, the work Paris-Port St. Nicolas changed hands for USD 765.00 (€ 781.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Myers Boggs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue de la Seine, Paris in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 51,250.00 (€ 35,649.69).
