Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work American le Moulin De La Galette by Frank Myers Boggs for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,352.75). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Frank Myers Boggs have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2011 by the work Vue de la Seine, Paris at USD 51,250.00 (€ 35,649.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit American le Moulin De La Galette von Frank Myers Boggs für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.352,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Frank Myers Boggs wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Vue de la Seine, Paris mit USD 51.250,00 (€ 35.649,69).
