Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pastoral Landscape by Frank McKelvey was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,226.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank McKelvey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The sunlit bench in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 40,800.00 (€ 60,039.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pastoral Landscape von Frank McKelvey wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.226,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank McKelvey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The sunlit bench im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.800,00 (€ 60.039,96).
