Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Summer'S Day by Frank McKelvey was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,232.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank McKelvey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The sunlit bench, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 40,800.00 (€ 60,039.96).
