Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British Art, which included the work Feeling That Way by Frank Avray Wilson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,816.29). Admittedly, works by Frank Avray Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wish in March 2012 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,982.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern | British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feeling That Way von Frank Avray Wilson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.816,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frank Avray Wilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wish im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.982,23).
