The work Configuration red and orange by Frank Avray Wilson was sold in the Modern | British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in April 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,724.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Avray Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wish, which sold at auction in March 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,982.23).

Die Arbeit Configuration red and orange von Frank Avray Wilson wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.724,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Avray Wilson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wish beobachtet, die im März 2012 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.982,23) versteigert wurde.
