Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work French Coucher De Soleil Sur L'Etang by François-Auguste Ravier for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,813.61). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François-Auguste Ravier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Etude De Ciel Au Dessus D'Une Plaine, which sold at auction in March 2010 for EUR 5,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French Coucher De Soleil Sur L'Etang von François-Auguste Ravier für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.813,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von François-Auguste Ravier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Etude De Ciel Au Dessus D'Une Plaine beobachtet, die im März 2010 für EUR 5.100,00 versteigert wurde.
