Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Woodland pond by François-Auguste Ravier. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,069.99). Admittedly, works by François-Auguste Ravier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Etude De Ciel Au Dessus D'Une Plaine in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 5,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woodland pond von François-Auguste Ravier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.069,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François-Auguste Ravier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Etude De Ciel Au Dessus D'Une Plaine im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.100,00.
