Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François-Auguste Ravier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Etude De Ciel Au Dessus D'Une Plaine im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.100,00.
