Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of CHF 15,000.00 (€ 14,107.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Diday - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vue sur le Mont Blanc avec le lac Léman au premier plan, 1855., which sold at auction in November 2017 for CHF 52,100.00 (€ 44,507.01).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 15.000,00 (€ 14.107,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
