Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings Part I, which included the work Portrait Of Le Blanc, Minister Of War, Three-Quarter-Length, Being Served Chocolate By A Young Male Servant by François de Troy. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 55,555.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François de Troy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Feast Of Dido And Aeneas: An Allegorical Portrait Of The Family Of The Duc And Duchesse Du Maine in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,776,000.00 (€ 1,313,609.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Le Blanc, Minister Of War, Three-Quarter-Length, Being Served Chocolate By A Young Male Servant von François de Troy zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Feast Of Dido And Aeneas: An Allegorical Portrait Of The Family Of The Duc And Duchesse Du Maine im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.776.000,00 (€ 1.313.609,47).
