Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Paysage by François Charles Cachoud. The price achieved of EUR 585.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by François Charles Cachoud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage nocturne in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von François Charles Cachoud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 585,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Charles Cachoud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage nocturne im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.000,00.
