Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included this untitled work by François Boisrond. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,749.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by François Boisrond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allée Ombreuse in March last year with an auction result of EUR 15,120.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von François Boisrond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.749,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Boisrond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allée Ombreuse im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.120,00.
