Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by François Boisrond achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2018. In the Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour auction, the work Une sombre histoire de pommes sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by François Boisrond; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Allée Ombreuse sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of EUR 15,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von François Boisrond erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour wurde die Arbeit Une sombre histoire de pommes für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von François Boisrond; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Allée Ombreuse im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 15.120,00.
