Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Franco Grignani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in April 2016. In the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction, the work Tensione Fluttuante N. 18 sold for EUR 45,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franco Grignani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Proiezione accumulata (Accumulated Projection), which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 106,250.00 (€ 118,365.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franco Grignani erzielte im April 2016 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Tensione Fluttuante N. 18 für EUR 45.300,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franco Grignani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Proiezione accumulata (Accumulated Projection) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 106.250,00 (€ 118.365,72) versteigert wurde.
