Die Arbeit Periodica N. 276 von Franco Grignani kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 20.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franco Grignani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Proiezione accumulata (Accumulated Projection) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 118.365,72).
