Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Proiezione 1955 by Franco Grignani was auctioned at Il Ponte in April 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franco Grignani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Proiezione accumulata (Accumulated Projection) in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 118,365.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Proiezione 1955 von Franco Grignani im April 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.300,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franco Grignani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Proiezione accumulata (Accumulated Projection) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 118.365,72).
