Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio urbano 1980 by Franco Fontana was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2019. The price achieved of EUR 1,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franco Fontana have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Piscina - 1984 in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 8,060.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio urbano 1980 von Franco Fontana kam im Dezember 2019 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franco Fontana auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Piscina - 1984 im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.060,00.
