However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franco Fontana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piscina - 1984, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 8,060.00.

Die Arbeit Paesaggio 1970 von Franco Fontana kam im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Franco Fontana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piscina - 1984 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 8.060,00 versteigert wurde.
