Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Francisco Sobrino was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,080.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Sobrino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Permutationelle M in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Francisco Sobrino wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.080,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Sobrino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Permutationelle M im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27).
