Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,506.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francisco Matto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Constructivo en rojo y azul in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,164.27).

Die Arbeit Composition with Six Compartments von Francisco Matto wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.506,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
