Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ostrich by Francis Ng was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 1,713.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 13,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Francis Ng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Intimate Spaces #1 was auctioned for HKD 33,600.00 (€ 3,374.92).
