Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francis Lymburner could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online auction, the work At Circular Quay changed hands for AUD 615.00 (€ 374.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Lymburner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Advocate in August 2005 with an auction result of AUD 8,962.50 (€ 5,461.82).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Lymburner erzielen.
