Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Elizabeth aged 6 1/2 years by Francis Cadell was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,204.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Cadell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reflection in June last year with an auction result of GBP 942,500.00 (€ 1,094,916.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Elizabeth aged 6 1/2 years von Francis Cadell kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.204,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Cadell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reflection im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 942.500,00 (€ 1.094.916,90).
