Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Senza titolo by Francesco Somaini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,720.00 24% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Somaini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Obliqua. Il Gesto, which sold at auction in October 2018 for EUR 8,125.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Francesco Somaini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.720,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Somaini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Obliqua. Il Gesto beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert wurde.
