In May 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Francesco Somaini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,800.00 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Somaini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Obliqua. Il Gesto, which sold at auction in October 2018 for EUR 8,125.00.

Im Mai 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Francesco Somaini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.800,00 und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Somaini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Obliqua. Il Gesto beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert wurde.
