It changed hands for a price of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 159,810.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Primaticcio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Allegorical Figure Of Prudence, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 349,250.00 (€ 400,816.62).
