Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Two Still Lifes, Each With Vases Of Flowers In A Coastal Landscape Setting by Francesco Mantovano. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 38,936.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Francesco Mantovano have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2006 the work Carnations, lilies, narcissi, convolvulus and other flowers in a sculpted urn on a stone ledge; and Tulips, roses, carnations and convolvulus in a sculpted urn on a stone ledge was auctioned for GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,676.11).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Still Lifes, Each With Vases Of Flowers In A Coastal Landscape Setting von Francesco Mantovano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 38.936,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden.
