Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tulips, carnations, daffodils and other flowers in a sculpted vase by Francesco Mantovano was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2005. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,800.00 (€ 17,472.60). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Mantovano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carnations, lilies, narcissi, convolvulus and other flowers in a sculpted urn on a stone ledge; and Tulips, roses, carnations and convolvulus in a sculpted urn on a stone ledge, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,676.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tulips, carnations, daffodils and other flowers in a sculpted vase von Francesco Mantovano kam im Januar 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.800,00 (€ 17.472,60) einen neuen Besitzer.
