Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,434.00 (€ 2,167.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Coleman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cavalli Nella Campagna Romana in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 11,160.00.
