Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Untitled", 2004 by Florian Maier-Aichen was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 110,000.00 (€ 10,331.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florian Maier-Aichen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Mulholland) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,308.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Untitled", 2004 von Florian Maier-Aichen im April 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 110.000,00 (€ 10.331,22) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florian Maier-Aichen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Mulholland) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.308,48).
