Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art, which included the work Sketch Of Figures In A Landscape by Filip Malyavin. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,033.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filip Malyavin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frau am Meer. in June 2010 with an auction result of CHF 52,800.00 (€ 39,869.56).

Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sketch Of Figures In A Landscape von Filip Malyavin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.033,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filip Malyavin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frau am Meer. im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 52.800,00 (€ 39.869,56).
