Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two peasant girls; and Seated woman by Filipp Maliavin was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,847.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Filipp Maliavin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Babas in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46).
