Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Reasoner by Filipp Maliavin was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,508.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filipp Maliavin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Babas in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Reasoner von Filipp Maliavin wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 56.508,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filipp Maliavin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Babas im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 546.286,46).
