It achieved a price of USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,249.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernand Toussaint - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Femme Élégante Au Parc, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 71,700.00 (€ 103,140.06).

Die Arbeit Belgian The Bouquet von Fernand Toussaint wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.249,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Fernand Toussaint mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Femme Élégante Au Parc, Paris beobachtet, die im November 2004 für GBP 71.700,00 (€ 103.140,06) versteigert wurde.
