Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work A still life with white roses in a vase by Fernand Toussaint. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Toussaint achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Élégante Au Parc, Paris in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 71,700.00 (€ 103,140.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with white roses in a vase von Fernand Toussaint zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Toussaint erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Élégante Au Parc, Paris im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.700,00 (€ 103.140,06).
