Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vue De Venise by Fernand Marie Eugène Legout-Gérard was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,750.00. Admittedly, works by Fernand Marie Eugène Legout-Gérard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Breton Figures in a Landscape in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 41,125.00 (€ 48,639.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vue De Venise von Fernand Marie Eugène Legout-Gérard wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fernand Marie Eugène Legout-Gérard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Breton Figures in a Landscape im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 41.125,00 (€ 48.639,86).
