This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Fernand Maillaud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 22,961.42).

Die Arbeit Le Retour Des Champs von Fernand Maillaud war einem Käufer im Juli 2010 EUR 3.698,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fernand Maillaud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 22.961,42).
