The work Retours des Champs by Fernand Maillaud was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in October 2008. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,274.64) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Maillaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 22,961.42).

Die Arbeit Retours des Champs von Fernand Maillaud wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.274,64) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Maillaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 22.961,42).
