Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Les baigneuses by Fernand Maillaud for GBP 940.00 (€ 946.84). This price was achieved in the auction IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST-WAR ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Maillaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 22,961.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les baigneuses von Fernand Maillaud für GBP 940,00 (€ 946,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST-WAR ART bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Maillaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 22.961,42).
