The auction ended at the price of EUR 30,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Khnopff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian les Enfants De Monsieur Neve in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,968.47).

Die Arbeit Head Of A Young Woman von Fernand Khnopff wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 30.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Khnopff erzielen.
