This artwork by Feng Zhengjie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Chinese Portrait Series sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,187.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Zhengjie erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.187,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
