Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints, which included the work Westminster Palace (B. & G. 155) by Félix Buhot. The price achieved of GBP 2,031.50 (€ 3,023.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Félix Buhot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Une Scène Nocturne Avec Le Boulevard Montmartre, la Taverne du Bagne Et la Ménagerie Pezon Au Fond, which sold at auction in March 2005 for EUR 10,200.00.
