A top price for Felim Egan - as previously expected
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction The Irish Sale Part II, which included the work Foreland by Felim Egan. The price achieved of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,361.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Foreland is the most expensive artwork by Felim Egan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Irish Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Foreland von Felim Egan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.361,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Foreland das teuerste Kunstwerk von Felim Egan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
