Each scroll inscribed and signed: Yubo Geng, Yubo Fei Yigeng, or Fei Yigeng
Each scroll with one to two seals of the artist: Yu Bo, Fei Yi Geng Yin Last scroll dated wuchen year (1868)

The work Ladies of The Four Seasons by Fei Yigeng was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 95,600.00 (€ 9,630.50), 59% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fei Yigeng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Beauties sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,036.53).

Die Arbeit Ladies of The Four Seasons von Fei Yigeng wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 95.600,00 (€ 9.630,50) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fei Yigeng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Beauties im November 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.036,53).
