A top price for Federico Mazzotta - as previously expected
In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Entertaining The Baby by Federico Mazzotta. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,117.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Entertaining The Baby is the most expensive artwork by Federico Mazzotta that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Entertaining The Baby von Federico Mazzotta zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.117,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Entertaining The Baby das teuerste Kunstwerk von Federico Mazzotta, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
