Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Federico Aguilar Alcuaz was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,976.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Aguilar Alcuaz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cockfight in May 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 128,601.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Federico Aguilar Alcuaz kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.976,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Aguilar Alcuaz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cockfight im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 128.601,06).
